This website was set-up to generate awareness and create space for conversations about how to address the growing absence of honesty and integrity in our public services. The question is not whether public services need to become more trustworthy; that ship has sailed. The challenge now is how to deal with this issue...
My name is Tom Bell. I value the role of our Public Services and the many good people working in them. Unfortunately, my family and I have experienced the lack of honesty and integrity that typifies too many of them. Having worked in the NHS, I have also seen the lasting damage caused by unprincipled leadership and management and witnessed the pressure applied upon people to become part of harmful cultures. I believe things need to change.
